Effective November 3, 2026
These policies explain how Rapid Repair Construction, LLC, doing business as Rapid Repair Handyman (“Rapid Repair”), approaches repair, maintenance, and remodeling requests.
Your Project Agreement
This page provides general service information. Your project’s written agreement identifies the agreed scope, price, materials, schedule, payment terms, exclusions, and applicable notices. A website inquiry alone does not authorize work. If this page differs from your signed project agreement, the signed agreement controls to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here replaces required California contract disclosures or limits statutory customer rights.
Minimum Charge and Assessments
Our minimum charge is $285 for any job or visit, including assessments. This is a minimum, not a flat price for every project. We confirm applicable assessment or service charges before scheduling. Photos and descriptions help us review a request but may not reveal all conditions.
Estimates and Troubleshooting
Final pricing depends on the agreed scope, materials, site access, and existing conditions. Preliminary estimates based on photos or descriptions may require an on-site assessment before a firm proposal can be prepared. Any charge for that assessment will be disclosed in advance.
For electrical troubleshooting, our rate is $285 for the first hour and $185 for each additional hour. We confirm the applicable billing arrangement before starting. Repairs or materials beyond the agreed troubleshooting scope require customer approval.
Scheduling and Site Access
Regular scheduling is Monday through Friday. Weekend appointments may be available by special arrangement, subject to availability. An appointment is confirmed when our office confirms it with you. Please contact us promptly if you need to reschedule.
Please provide authorized access to the work area, move fragile belongings as practical, and keep children and pets clear of active work. Tell us about known leaks, electrical issues, hazardous materials, access restrictions, or other conditions relevant to the work.
Materials and Customer-Supplied Products
The proposal will identify included materials and any products the customer will supply. Please confirm compatibility and have customer-supplied products available for the appointment. Missing, damaged, or incompatible items may affect the schedule or require a revised scope. Product defects are handled under the applicable manufacturer or seller warranty; our workmanship warranty addresses our installation work.
Concealed Conditions and Additional Work
Damage or conditions inside walls, ceilings, floors, or other concealed areas may become visible after work starts. If we find conditions affecting the agreed work, we will explain the findings and seek approval for any revised scope, price, or schedule before performing additional work. Required change orders will be documented and signed before the changed work begins.
Permits and Inspections
Your written agreement will identify responsibility for required permits and inspections and whether their costs are included. A permit being absent from a preliminary estimate does not waive a legal permit requirement.
Payment
For small repair jobs, payment is due on completion unless the written agreement states otherwise. Larger projects use the payment schedule in their written contract. Any deposit and progress payments must comply with applicable California requirements. This page does not create a separate deposit requirement or payment schedule.
Workmanship Warranty
Small repair workmanship is covered for 30 days after completion. Contact us promptly with the project details and a description of the concern so we can evaluate it and arrange correction of a covered workmanship issue. Manufacturer product warranties are separate.
Warranties for larger construction and remodeling projects are governed by the written contract and applicable California law. Nothing in these policies reduces any nonwaivable legal rights or applicable statutory protections.
Questions and Service Concerns
Contact our office about your estimate, scheduling, completed work, or a warranty concern. Photos can help us understand the issue. Updates to this page do not retroactively change an existing signed agreement.
